Penny tinkers under the bonnet

That sounds quite rude, doesn’t it? Picturing myself in a Jane Austen-y dress and bonnet, naughtily touching myself in the drawing room (as it were), anxiously listening out for Papa’s approach.

But it’s all quite innocent, really. I’ve decided to get into the 21st century and tweak my blog comment system so that people can reply to individual comments. This applies to me especially: I really appreciate the comments you all leave and I figure that it would be nice to be able to reply to them individually.

And so I’ve tinkered. With the blog’s HTML. :-O I’ve even added a custom avatar thing so cute little hearts appear next to everyone’s names.

Do let me know if I’ve broken anything :)

Penny Does a Runner: Part VII

The gaily-coloured big top came into sight first, the flags atop the huge circus tent fluttering prettily against the blue sky. Penny was tired from the walk from school but, the circus now in view, she skipped the remaining distance to the showground with a renewed spring in her step.

Once amongst the tents, stalls and rides she looked about herself in wonder, the sights and sounds in every direction promising fun. This was the life for her, she thought with a happy smile.

But how to go about joining the circus, she wondered, feeling suddenly unsure of herself. The next moment she jumped in surprise as a man weaved past her on a unicycle, disappearing round a corner before she could catch his attention. She was similarly unsuccessful in approaching a pair of men walking a huge tiger. Just as she was about to become discouraged, a pair of young women stepped out of a nearby caravan, dressed in leotards and capes. She felt sure that they would be able to help.

“You’ll want to speak to Mr Carter,” said one of the women in reply to Penny’s enquiry. “He’s the one who runs it all. His trailer is the big blue one on the end there.”

Penny smiled a grateful thank you and raced off to the circus owner’s caravan. She took a deep breath for courage, knocked on the door and was greeted by a distinguished silver-haired gentleman in a red jacket and white jodhpurs. “Yes?” he said.

“Mr Carter? My name is Penny Has... uh, Smith and I... well, I’d like to join your circus!”

The circus-master raised his eyebrows and looked the fresh-faced girl up and down. “I see... and you are how old, exactly, Penny Has-Smith?”

Penny hesitated. “I’m, er... eighteen!” she beamed, doing her best to look that age.

Mr Carter thought for a moment then showed Penny inside. She was a pretty enough girl, and he did need a new usherette, after all. Poor Mary, sat on by an elephant during the matinée show... peanuts everywhere. Tragic.

An usherette – how super! thought Penny. She would get to travel the country with the circus, eat all the toffee apples she wanted, see the performers in action and not have to risk life and limb herself... and she might even get paid!

Silly, horrid, lovely uniform rules

I was spanked last night. This is noteworthy because it was the first time in months. It was as part of roleplay-foreplay and, as is my wont, I was playing the part of a naughty schoolgirl. She (and I) needed a spanking, we deserved one, and by Jove we got one.

As it is summer here I wore my blue gingham summer school dress, long white socks and cute black strap shoes.

And spotty black panties!

I was of course taken firmly to task for such a wanton breach of the uniform rules, and once my non-regulation underwear had been yanked down to my knees and my defenceless derriere slapped a sore shade of pink with the ruler I promised never, ever to wear them to school again. I promised all kinds of other things as I was nailed post-spanking, too, my cruel teacher scolding me (and slapping and pinching and hair-pulling) throughout.

God, I’ve missed spanking.

That is the question

I’m having a writing day today; gonna see if I can get Project Summer moving again. (Before I have to rename it Project Winter). I’ll write naughty Penny’s circus adventure soon, but for a Penny fix in the meantime I thought you might like some more about the real, sitting-here-typing-this me. I spotted the following Q&A on Ronnie’s blog and figured I’d answer its searching questions too.

Penny Does a Runner: Part VI

It’s exactly two months since the last instalment of our spiffing schoolgirl tale, Penny Does a Runner. High time that we picked things up again, I think!

Penny skipped down the hedge-lined lane towards the town, smiling happily, her blonde locks bouncing in the sunshine. She was free! No more lessons, no more uniform inspections, no more spankings! What bliss her life would be from now on!

But then, mid-skip, she suddenly frowned, as if a dark cloud had passed across her young face. Running away from school meant no more lessons or spankings, certainly. But it also meant no more meals... no more hot baths... no more cosy bed in the dorm room! Oh, dear... in her eagerness to escape a caning from the Headmistress she hadn’t thought of the downside to running away. Whatever would she do? It was mid-afternoon and pleasant now, but the sun would have to go down eventually, and she would be all alone when it did.

Alone... and cold... and hungry...

She pictured herself huddled in a barn, shivering in the nighttime chill; pale blue moonlight peering in through a gap in the tattered old roof. Poor, friendless Penny. Oh! What was that noise? It might be an owl in the rafters... or it might be someone approaching; a scoundrel creeping up on her! Oh, goodness!

It was with such terrors in her mind that Penny practically staggered head first into a colourful poster that was pinned to a telegraph pole. She fell back, dazed, and looked at it.

CARTER’S CIRCUS
The most spectacular show in England!
Death-defying trapeze acts
Lions, tigers and elephants
The Amazing Anastasia
Spiffo and his clown troupe

Oh, what luck! Of course – she would join the circus! They were bound to have room for her somewhere. She could juggle, after all. And stand on her head. And she didn’t mind heights one bit. With a new feeling of glee she raced off down the road.

I heart you

There’s a reason I use a heart for my blog’s icon. It’s because, as corny as it may sound, my writing is about love above all else. That this can be true even though it might include spanking and scolding and domination and submission and bondage and pained, bitter tears and all manner of such things is doubtless easier for kinky people to understand than some; it feels like a rather obvious point to make to you all, in fact. But yes, love is the principal reason I write. It is also why this place exists.

I am so thankful for the miracle of modern technology that lets me have a ‘blog’ in the first place, for it has meant I have got to meet and befriend so many wonderful people all over the world. I want to thank you all for caring about a girl in England who writes silly, naughty stories. Your messages of sympathy and support have helped me more than I can say.

Thank you with all my heart.
