Ho ho oww!

Yay! My Christmas-themed short story is now complete :)

Called ‘The Spirit of Giving’, it’s a fun little M/F sketch with Santa as the M and a self-centred TV hostess as the naughty and deserving F, and I hope it pleases like a snifter of liqueur after a big turkey dinner.

It’s set to appear in an anthology of festive fiction, so I will let you know all about that as soon as I have the details. Excited! :D

On the subject of holidays, now is the perfect time to tell you about the rather fetching purple image adorning the top right corner of my blog. It’s in support of an event called ‘Spank or Treat’, a multi-blog extravaganza with free stories, quizzes, prizes, and a whole lot of spanking! The fun starts tomorrow, October 25, so get in the spooky spirit and check out the participating blogs :)

I’m not part of Spank or Treat but I’ll be putting my witch hat on and spooking my own blog up on Halloween itself. Fans of pumpkins, ghouls and other such creepy accoutrements be sure to pop by!

  1. I look forward to that anthology, Penny. If it's the one I'm thinking of. I know a couple of other contributors as well.

  2. Congratulations dear!! Looking forward to it - like the snifter of liqueur after that turkey dinner…well, maybe more the book than the turkey. :)

Oh also, BOO! Happy almost Halloween!

    1. :D Happy almost Halloween to you too, Natasha!

And thank you. The story isn't a patch on anything you write, but I hope it amuses all the same :)

  5. Remember that Halloween is the perfect (prefect?) time to put on that school uniform under the guise of going to a Halloween party. And traveling about town on a well spanked bottom (or having your significant other threaten you with a just and well deserved punishment in public, when you get bratty -- or even when you don't -- will make your costume feel that much more authentic.

    1. Mm... :)

You're quite right, of course, imreadonly2. And the scenarios you so expertly describe sound lovely!

Er, I mean horrid. Just imagine being dragged around by the wrist, your immature (and dreadfully short) school skirt dancing up as you scamper to keep up with your strict guardian, the sore, red curves of your recently-punished derriere peeking out from under it for all to see.

      Whee! :D

  7. Of course the problem with buying that entirely authentic reformatory school girl costume in town, Penny, is when the police pick you up as a escapee. The Headmaster, always happy to get some more money from the state for one more bottom to smack, doesn't mind a bit.

And the grumpy Headmaster seems increasingly annoyed by my calls protesting your innocence, promising that each new phone call or letter will cause him "take my frustration's out on that Hasler brat's bare bottom!"

But don't worry, Penny, I won't give up on you, and will keep calling and writing eveyday. We'll get you out if it takes 100 years!

    2. Wail! Howl! Sob! Trapped in a frightful reformatory! Beaten and stripped and spoken down to and generally manhandled in a most discomfiting manner!

(No rush to rescue me, it's okay ;D)

    3. Thjat's ok, Penny -you won't be leaving for a very long time. There's evidence were involved with a very serious theft that helped bring down a huge company (stealing Woolworth's pick n mix whiile avoiding school..)

    4. LOL! It's a fair cop!

(I was once accused of shoplifting in Woolie's, actually, even though I hadn't done a thing. I like to think karma caught up with them) :P
